Jose is a player for the Kings. He's been with the team since 2007. One of his most memorable experiences was playing with the Kings in Canada during the International Spitfire Challenge.

Salim Shooting Guard

Originally from Afghanistan. Salim used to be a professional wrestler, and was his countries champion for about 10 years. During that time he competed in over 35 countries and won about 50 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. He has a masters degree in sports and was coach for the Army club's wrestlers for about 7 years. He broke his back in a competition during practice. "Sports was my life", that is why when he came to the United States in July 1999, he began looking for some activities and heard about Wheelchair basketball and became an instant member of the team.

He had finished 2 colleges in Afghanistan in Technology and Agriculture and has continued his education in the United States. He finished his degree at CNM in Office Administration, and is currently a student at the University of New Mexico.

Dominic Shooting Guard

Playing since 2009, Dominic has developed a lethal midrange shot. He continues to improve in all areas of the game. In 2009 he attended his first tournament and is now even more determined to become a threat on the court.

Patricia Shooting Guard

Started playing at the beginning of 2005. Patricia say's "I play 'cause I love the game. it's good exercise and I'm the only grandma I know playing."

Loraine Gonzales

Center

Loraine made her international debut at the 2007 Parapan American Games and proved to be a major asset on the inside for the U.S., averaging 17 points and eight rebounds over six games on the way to a gold medal. Her presence in the post was valuable at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, where the U.S. Paralympic Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team won its second consecutive gold medal.
